I disable mine after i went to new wheels and tires. I personally hate the sensors but i see why they are there . they mandated them for people who are ingorant about their vehicle or just dont care to do basic maintance / checks. They are not really ment for us who are normally all over our vehicles moding / cleaning / fixing etc etc

Did you recently rotate your tires? Mine does that for a day or two after every rotation, and then goes away. Disconnecting the battery will not clear the error.

I used the adjustment to drop the warning down to 20 psi. Now I run my 35s at 27psi for normal use. It still dings at me when I air down, but I don't find it all that annoying.

I like having mine. I had a sidewall problem with one of my tires when it was brand new. Like the second week after I installed them. Driver side front was loosing pressure catastrophically in the drive way. When I walked past it, it still had about 20psi in it, and looked normal. Got in the jeep and right after I pulled out of my driveway the buzzer went off, so I pulled back in. The gauge in the dash said it was down to 15psi. Because of the TPMS I was able to change the tire in my garage using a floor jack, rather than having to do it a mile down the road in the gravel with the shitty factory scissor jack and a couple of wood blocks. My Method Wheels didn't have to spend any time on a flat tire, and the whole thing was a lot better than if I had waited till I noticed the tire being flat a little ways down the road.

I also like that I don't have to pull over to check the tire pressures while I'm going down the highway. Pressures change with temp changes, jeep always handles funny when the first good cold front comes through. Now I don't have to freeze my butt of to check the pressures. Just click the dash button front he warm jeep while driving to work, don't have to stop and be late, don't have to be cold. It's pretty sweet.

There is a slight possibility that I am overly obsessive abut tire pressures.

So I'll be keeping mine operational. To each their own.

Happy Jeeping!
