Quick Sport to Rubicon shock question
Go to any 4-wheeler store. My local shop gave them to me for free and charged $75 to install on my daughter Sport. A high-quality shop get tons of new, take-offs from Rubi owners looking to pimp their new rides, and literally throws them away when they pile up.

Do you mean jeep.com? I just looked at all the specs and such, and didn't see of what you speak. I recall from the 2012 thread, that all shocks were listed as "gas", but I'm clueless about your twin versus mono shock comment? To me, twin shocks mean two parallel shocks per corner, as used on radical lifts and such?
Naw, its chamber (tube) inside, they appear same by just looking....in faq section on this site has explanation or Google I guess....im from Canada so jeep.ca for me.....mono is better for trail they dissipate heat faster...and priced accordingly
If you can pick up the Rubi monotube shocks for $100 AND you plan to stay stock height for the life of your Jeep, you may want to look at Monroe Reflex Shocks. You can get a set of four for about $150 if you shop around and you'll have a limited lifetime warranty. They are monotube shocks and when they wear out, go back to your FLAPS and get new ones.
I've had terrible luck with Reflex's on pickups. The bushings just don't last and before long they're rattling around. I have Bilstein's on my truck now and I love them.
I tried Rubi shocks. Compared to my OEM Sport shocks with only 500 miles on them, the fronts were good but the rears were too harsh. I put the Sports back on until I put on OME's.
