Default Quick Sport to Rubicon shock question

I have the opportunity to purchase 2011 Rubicon take off shocks for my 2011 sport. I do not want to do the springs and coils due to I like my stock height for right now. I've read so many posts about the difference in the ride is night and day.

So just to confirm by just replacing my sport stock shocks with rubi stock shocks will I notice a huge difference ?

Yes!
Better cornering (no body lean), better over rough roads (tires stay in contact with road better), overall a much better ride. Go for it!

the ride is much better, I'd go for it. it's not going to affect your height that much, maybe an inch or two.

From what I have heard they are the same shock, different color.

the rubicon shocks are gas shocks, they keep cooler under stress, they dampen better, and best of all for us guys up north they dont freeze up in the cold. the rest of the models have oil shocks which are 'lazy' but they do the job, i'd 100% go for it! and if you have the opratunity for the springs, go for them as well they will give you a little bit of hight and a nicer ride when combined with the gas shock.

I swapped mine last month. Went from 2010 sports to 2011 Rubi's huge difference! The body size is impressive. The amount it takes to compress the sport shocks is a joke.... The Rubi's made me work for it! Best $90 bucks I've spent. I still have the stick sport coil springs. The ride is much better now.
