I recommend get some rubicon sliders. I got them for my 2011 jk sport and they help alot! I might lift it 4 in down the road but right now she's working just fine.

32/11.5/R15 bfg allterians
1.5 spidertrax spacers
Rubicon rock sliders
Cut rear fenders for flex
Stuby bumper kit

While I have been waiting on the money to do my tires and lift I have been wheeling my stock sport. The only limits to what it can do are clearance and you. I have scraped the dirt countless times, and I've had some high rocks dent skid plates, but the jeep made it through some pretty tough crawls. If you do want to off road, you can do it even with your stock tires.

Personally, I bought 35's so I don't have to go around some of the harder obstacles that either clearance or tire size limit you on. Those obstacles are out there, just know your jeep and your capability. Best way to do that is go out (with others) and find out.

Default Off Road?

Also what can I do to make it more capable and still keep my awesome gas mileage?
I don't want a lift or huge tires, I'm thinking of more aggressive tires in the same size and leveling kit.
Anything else I should look into?

Thanks.
Hi, before you level your jeep, if you mean raising the front end up to be even with the back, study! That alone will knock your fuel economy down at least a couple miles per gallon. Jeep designed it that way for the aero effect. Just so you know. As far as a stock jeep in the off road, just go far enough to watch the modified jeeps play and stick to the shutter bug trails. Good luck

My leveling kit (front 3/4" spacer) did not affect my mileage in any way, shape or form. Still get between 18-19 mpg.

A little bit bigger tire that's also more aggresive will help. I'd also recommend some swaybar disconnects and just see how good it can do.
What is the size difference between a KM/2 255-75-17 and a 255-80-17? Is the 255-80-17 wider? And which will work on my stock jku sport better ?

Thanks,
Sean

I don't think so... Springs vary by rate, not height..
