Default Rear axle won't unlock???

Took my 13 Rubi out wheeling today and used the axle lock for the first time. Now when I try to turn it off it continues to flash, in 4lo, 4hi, 2hi and it seems the axle is still locked, dragging and rough around tight turns. Rubi has about 15k miles on it and all stock except wheels. Anyone have any suggestions?

Put it on reverse, back up a little, then go forward and should unlocked.

yes, and do it on soft ground, not pavement. It helps to roll gently, turn the wheel side to side a bit to take any load off the lock. Being on the rear, you will need to roll more than when unlocking the front.

Thanks for the replies but I have definitely tried this with no luck. I have tried everything I can think of and the axle is still locked. Any other suggestions? Or should I just try again?

Try this disconnect the battery for a few minutes may be able to disengage the locker.

When you disconnect the battery, briefly touch the positive and negative.

Definitely sounds like a warranty claim if it's a short distance to the dealer with no hard turns on pavement.

If you want to unlock it to drive to the dealer, do this...
Pull the differential fill plug and with a flat-tip screw driver do this:

Put the plug back in and check it out. Once it's unlocked, drive it to the dealer and let them lock it and try to unlock it.

I had the same problem my first time I use them. Push the bottom of the locker button to turn them on but the top of the button to turn them off. It is more like a three way toggle. If you change to two wheel drive and press the bottom of the switch it will just blink and not turn off the lockers.

I've tried everything mentioned, well except H8MUD's suggestion , with no luck. Will probably bring it to the dealer tomorrow, only about 7 miles away. Question is, will driving like this damage anything? Had to drive back 30 miles from the trails with it locked....
