rear end noise
Hey guys,
So for about the last 2 weeks or so I have had a noise in the rear end that I can't figure out. If I could describe it I'd say it was a moan/clicking noise (almost like horse hooves) whenever I go over bumps causing body roll.
I've been under the Jeep, sprayed the likely causes with lubricant but its still there. I took it to a mechanic and they didn't find the issue but confirmed they heard it during a test drive.
Before I take it to the dealer, any ideas? The only mod is the teraflex spacer leveling kit on an otherwise stock 2010 Rubicon unlimited.
Thanks!

Check the shocks and sway bar first. Then if you put a track bar bracket or loosener the track bar re check torque on track bar bolts. If it was me I would just re-torque the hole rear- end that you touched when putting on the lift kit! That should fix it.
One thing I have been told as well is to lift it off the ground then loosen all the bolt and then put back on the ground then rock the jeep side to side then re-torque on the ground. Hope this help. But I am 100% sure something that you put on or loosened for the lift isn't torqued right!

Thanks for the suggestions. I figured it was something to do with the leveling kit. I'll retorque the rear end on my next day off. The only thing I found weird was that the kits been on since January and it just started 2 weeks ago, guess that's how long it took to loosen up.
At the dealership as we speak. Sitting in their lounge waiting for them to finish the inspection. I didn't have the time (or energy) to get under the jeep myself so I just brought it here.
My fear is they're just going to blame the noise on the leveling kit but we'll see.

Thanks for the replies. They ended up looking over the Jeep for about an hour and test drove it. According to my invoice, the noise ended up being "parking brake cables making contact with retainers. Cleaned and adjusted parking brake cables"
So far so good. Noise is gone. Anyone ever hear of that happening?
