Unhappy Rear Wiper Housing

Not sure if anyone else has experienced this, but I have noticed when it rains, or heavy snow as it melts, the rear wiper housing leaks water down the inside of my rear window.
Have not contacted the dealer for the obvious reasons.

Definitely not "normal," and I'm not sure what you mean about not going to your dealer... but keep in mind that ANY Jeep dealership should fix it for free if you're under warranty, so if you're concerned about YOUR dealership, find another.

I would start by making sure the seal for the rear window and tailgate is nice and clean and free of dust and dirt. If you determine that the leak is coming in where the wiper arm goes through the glass im sure this could be fixed by running a bead of clear silicone around the mounting point. This will save you from having to go to the dealer hopefully.

What rear wiper are you talking about? My wifes 07 unlimited soft top has no rear wiper. Sorry but I had to.
As was stated, check the seal where the water is getting in to ensure it's soft and plyable. Has this happened from day one? Don't know what you mean by obvious. If it's under warranty, have the dealership repair or replace, as it's their problem. If it's out of warranty, clean the seal good, and as was posted, run a small bead of clear or black silicone around.
You can use your finger and some spit to lightly smooth it out.
