Default Recommended cleaner for interior?

My new JK was finally dirty enough to warrant a wash, so I spent the evening giving it a good once-over. I had read on the forum that some folks recommended McGuire's products, so I tried the UV resistant stuff for the interior. It went on okay and looks fine, but damn if it doesn't smell like Tropicana coco butter suntan lotion.

Any suggestions for another UV resistant product to keep the interior ooking good? One that doesn't have as strong an odor? (Or al least one that's more "automotive" and less perfumy?)

Some good news ... I found no water leaks after spraying it with a fairly high-jet garden hose.

Some bad news... I've had it about two weeks and I noticed what appears to be the inevitable rust ring forming on the outside of two of the bolts of the windscreen pillars.

Get some 303 Aerospace Protectant (link). It's great for all rubber and plastic surfaces (tires, fenders, interior... everything). Some people say it smells bad, but I can't even smell it at all. Once applied (follow the directions) it will give the surface(s) a deeper low-sheen appearance that repels dirt, dust, & water (and UV rays).

For the rust, I'd use Rustoleum & a Q-tip.

I use the armor-all CLEANING wipes (NOT the protectant!!) on my interior surfaces.. no smell and they do a nice job of picking up the dirt..

I dont like a sheen so I dont use any of the armor-all type things on the plastics.. just keep them clean...

I spilled pop on the seat in my last JK and used resolve to get the stain out...

this JK I got darker interior.. makes it tougher to stain..

Thanks for the suggestions.

What about for the dash, door pannels, etc? My seat covers are arriving today, so the seats should be better protected, but the plastic in the interior of my previous TJ faded badly and cracked over time. Any thoughts on how to forestall this, or reduce the speed at which it happens?

And I'm much more likely to have dog slobber or muddy paws/boots soil the upholstry than food or drink. Gotta say, the Oxy-based cleaners have done a helluva job on the carpets in our house.
