The parts manager at the dealer I bought my Jeep from told me a couple weeks ago the he could not get a remote start kit for a '08, and he didn't think Chrysler was going to make one.

He also said the Electronics in a '08 were different than a '07

Today the parts manager from a dealer that I have been using for my XJ, called and said that from what he could see the remote start kit would work on either a '07 / '08.

Most of the time I do my own work ... but I am a little leary of "frying" a computer so I'll let the dealer install it.

Has anyone installed a Remote Start on a '08 yet ? Hours ? Fit ?

I don't know about installing one but chrysler does make a remote start and is an option on 08's.
