Default Removing Doors

I tried taking off my doors this evening. I watched a few videos, it looked super easy. Remove the screws from the bottom of the hinges, push the mirrors in, unplug the electric harness and unlatch the loopy and lift up but we got no movement. What step am I missing?

If those doors have never been removed, or if it has been a really long time, they can be a bit stubborn. Be persistent in trying. If you are tall enough maybe get your thigh under the door to help. When you do get them off put a little grease on the pins before reinstalling them. You might consider replacing the bushings in the body side hinge too.

Once you get them removed replace the factory bushing with Delrin bushings.

What I did when I had this problem I learned from YouTube: place a wood 2x4 along the bottom edge of your door. Place a Jack under it as close to the hinge side as you can get and pump up the Jack until that side of your Jeep begins to lift up, but not higher enough that it lifts off the ground. If needed, carefully whack each head with a hammer and large screwdriver or dull chisel. This was successful for me. I then use anti-seize when I reinstall and have never had this problem again
