How do you loosen it, is there something holding it? Or just the old wiggle it loose.

haha...I did the same thing. Then I turned the piece where the crank goes into to close the jack and it came right out.

The jack is partially opened as the previous poster stated to keep it from moving so you want to close it and collapse it more

If the 2007 is like the 2011 you should be able to just stick a screwdriver through the jack hole on the end and twist it and that should begin to compress it enough to be able to pull it out

Turn the end counter clockwise and it should loosen it up and slide right out. When you put it back in you'll want to tighten to prevent rattling

on the end (side) of the jack is a large eyelet. Turn that until the jack comes loose.
