Default revised door latch?

I have heard of a revised door latch for the door rattle going over bumps.
Has anyone got this thru a dealer?
I told my dealer about it and they said there are no TSB's for the door rattle issue. And that was that, they never even looked at the problem.

Part # 4589277AG Ask them to look it up. The # did end with AF but has even revised again. I think there on backorder.

I don't know if there is a TSB for it, but the dealer changed mine out for the revised latch a few months ago. The rattle is gone.

Yep my dealer cured mine with ''parts'', ha! I didn't even ask what it was. I didn't buy my jeep there but these guys have treated me like their #1 customer...WHITTEN JEEP IN RICHMOND,VA.

I didn't even bother waiting for the new latches. I unscrewed the latch just enough to reposition it more towards the interior. No more clunk...try this while waiting for your latches.

Yep, dealer replace mine also. No questions asked. Take the part number listed above and have them cross reference it. It helps that it's listed as "revised door latch".

I adjusted my original latches and ran that way for a while. It works, but you have to really slam the doors to close them.

Thannks for the replies guys.
I adjusted the latch about 6months ago, but clunk came back.
But, listen to this-----I tightened the door pin on all the hinges and it is gone!
I looked at it and thought if they weren't tight it would give some leeway for the door to move up and down.
Has anyone done this yet?

I would have to buy new nuts. I took mine off last year and haven't seen them since.
