If you are in your driveway with the key turned to on and in gear it would not start. You would have to crank the ignition to start it up.

 

Oct 2006 build, auto.

Stalled three times so far, as recently as a few weeks ago on the freeway at speed.

 

I read the other threads and got my answer. It seems as though most stalls only last a second or two. Hopefully the issue is resolved by the time my Jeep is built (should be in the next month).

9100 miles, 6 speed , no stalls.

 

Never stalled here....just under 1000 miles, 2/2007 build, auto tranny, Unlimited X...

 

All the dash lights came on for a second and went off , it didn't feel like the engine stalled though. It happened real fast , never noticed a loss of power.

 

2dr x manual built in October. stalled twice. Only lasted a sec, started right back up by itself. It was like when somebody doesnt know how to drive a stick and kinda jumps it and kills it and it putters out and then jumps back. Thats what it was like, only i was in 5th gear cruising at around 45. Got it flashed and havent had the problem since

 

I got a auto JK X 4 door on 28th, Monday... 14 miles on her. WOOHOO I'm Geek'D right!

The passenger door was not closing right, the dealer said to bring it in the next morning and he will get it squared away. On the way to dealer in morning, I'm stopped at a light waiting to get on the freeway, is just dies. I restart, lights is green so I get on the ramp. Halfway down the ramp, it dies again. I finally get it to the dealer and several hours later they find nothing wrong and couldn't replicate the stall. But fixed the door. On the drive home it stalls doing 35 mph... stick it Neutral and restart, it catches, got power, go another 100 feet and stalls again. I call the dealer from a gas station I roll into, have them come pick it up. She is there now, I hope I get to see her tonight with a clear bill of health.

I think it may be more computer than jeep,
and a PC computer no less. HA
