Roll bar covers.
AZToad, I guess Arizona sun is too much! Wow, the cover really looks lighter. It would take at least 2~3 years to get that faded here in Pacific Northwest. Maybe you want to muve up here! Too much sun is bad for you... and your JK!

On my 99 TJ a few years back, I bought some fabric paint (at Michael's - arts and crafts store) at about $5/can and took all my pad covers off and painted them black. Took about 5 cans on a '99 TJ, but man, they came out looking brand new!! Washed them in the washer first, dried them (did not put foam in washer or dryer), then laid them out, sprayed them 2x and let them dry for a day. Put them back on and they were like brand new!!
I've tried all the solutions. RIT dye doesn't work so don't waste your time with it. Spray painting the originals with black fabric paint is effective just as the previous post stated. I use the spiderwebshade on hot days which wore down my rear roll bar cover from rubbing in the wind so eventually replaced mine with the Rugged Ridge replacements bought from Amazon. First I tried the Poly for around $80 -- they sucked. Arrived and appeared to be made from poly from two different lots so looked somewhat like patchwork quilt -- then faded within a month (unevenly at that). Exchanged for the Rugged Ridge vinyl roll bar cover (around $118) and quite happy with those (they are like the soft top material and just like the soft top, I'm guessing won't fade). I have reviews on Amazon for the 4 door replacement covers (both poly and vinyl) with pictures so go there for full reviews.
