Default Roof Alignment

Been struggling with freedom panel alignment at the top of the windshield since day 1. No leaks, just a "that's just not right" irking feeling. Dealer said it was just the seal not settled yet, ummm, yeah..
So, I was contemplating putting the hard top back on for later fall and winter, and happened to be standing in the garage when I looked up and noticed something strange with the 'alignment pegs'. There is one on the drivers side up near the freedom panel overlap, but not one on the passenger side..
Can anyone confirm this is as it should be, or am I missing one (and maybe I found my reason for the bad alignment)..
Thanks..

Thanks, and damn it - thought I was on to something. Don't believe they have changed much, but I should have mention my HT is for/on a 2013 JKUS..

Sorry about that. What's wrong with the alignment? Any pictures?

I would have to put the roof back on to get some pictures for you, and the weather has been to warm so far to warrant the change from the soft top..
It's not horrible, but if you were to stand at the side of your Jeep look across to the other side at the front of the freedom panels, on other Jeeps I have noticed the panels are directly in line, whereas mine to look like |_____----------|. It's more of an OCD, 'that bugs me' itchy brain type of thing - as I have no leaks whatsoever.. So more of an annoyance, and I thought the alignment peg may be the answer..

My hard top is spaced just like that, 2014 JK sport.

I didn't have any leaks when I removed it in the spring, but I do now that it's back on for the winter.

When this stretch of 70 degree days eventually fades away I'll install my HT and post a pic of the alignment. I'm OCD too, but never noticed if the panels are straight.
