I dunno. I like the looks of the painted fenders on the sahara as well as the 18 in wheels. However, having said that I'm falling in luv with my rubicon. I had owned a sport model yk for 12 years. Good vehicle. This rubicon is putting it too shame. I like the ride, the handling, the gas milage is even a little better. Last weekend I did a little four wheeling down an old road in the ozark national forest. Great time. Snaked down a mt on an old muddy road/trail across a flooded creak, several times. I finally climbed over a tree that had fallen across the trail. My old yk would have high centered, I'm sure of that. I also like the electronic lockers. You can't imagine the traction when it's engaged. In the end I suppose you'll just have to decide whether you want the looks or the off road performance.

Good grief. I gave the same story last time as I did this time. I've got to get out and four wheel more.

Silver won't show the minor "pinstripes" like black. Thats why my JK Rubi is silver. My TJ Rubi is black and she has some pinstipes. When the black is clean, she's beautiful. A little dust or road grime...not so pretty. Silver looks good all of the time unless there has been some mud involved.

Pinstripes=brush scratches while wheelin? I think this is what is meant by the term.

Mine is silver, too, and I can't complain at all about how it looks when nice and muddy. Shows the mud well .

I call'em racing stripes and they are barely visible on the silver.
