Only driven it 25 miles, but doesn't feel any different other than what you'd expect between a road tire and an MT.

It looks killer! And just the right set up for my off road needs.
I'm getting mine on Friday, they're prepping it up for me.

I'm stoked about the rubi suspension and 32 inchers. Just wanted to make sure the 3.21 Gearing doesn't put extra strain on the engine, that's all!

I can't wait to shove this guy in the mud!

....and also can't wait to pull off those damn pipe running boards....so ugly lol!

I've got 3.21's on 35's, love it.... Don't even need to re-gear..... May not re-gear next year when I go to 37's either.

Haha! I also ditched the tube sidesteps this week and put on Rubi rails. Looks great with the new tires. I call it the Rubi Facelift for my Sport.

Default Ratios

I also upgraded my Sport (B) to a Rubi off take set. I knew I was going to so I up'd my gear ratio when I ordered it. So it is a little different setup from yours but the higher gear ratio with the tiny stock tires (before I swapped) did not feel right with my 6 sp manual. Shift points just didn't feel right. I was relieved everything felt great once I switched but it emphasized the importance of the right gearing for the tire size. It sounds from other comments like you're good fortunately...

I bought the 2011 sport s 6 speed with 3.21 gears and 32' rubi take offs. Its fine, plenty of torque to move it around. Just feels kind of like your driving a tractor! Lol. I would love to test out the new pentastar engine though to see how much of a difference there is!

I bought the car from the dealer inventory, so I didn't have any say on the options. If I could, I would have gotten 3.73.

How much of an impact would this really have on the motor strain at lower gear, since the torque seems to peak at higher RPM on this engine?

Cheers!

Dude you'll be fine i went through the same dilemma, I went ahead with 285/70/17's only to be pleasanty surprised with no change in performance. Still plenty of power to pass on the highway at 110 kms. The extra inch in height and width from factory 255/70/18 was barely noticeable in fuel consumption too.
Only suggestion is to find rims with proper backspace.

Speaking of backspacing, Is 4.7 backspacing alright? or to much?
