Rubicon vs Sport shocks

I installed Rubi Springs and Shocks. I feel I got a stiffer ride due to the springs. The shocks helped soften the ride when going over bumps. I hope I'm making sense. I belive they are also two different animals. One is mono (sport) and one is gas (Rubi).

The thing that I noticed the most is how there is almost no body rise/movement when taking off (heavy throttle).
And almost no front end dive when braking (panic/quick stops)
It seems under normal pavement driving it may be a little stiffer, small bumps have a sharper hit to them, but ruts or en-even pavement gives you a feeling of more control.
I would definitely swap Sport shocks for Rubi shocks (or any other mono-tube high pressure gas shock)

I got some for the same deal..... I put them on and did not change springs. Off road, my JK took washboard with much more control, responded to bumps like an off road vehicle should. Best part is how the on road drive-ability improved. Body lean in turns is mucch less, no dive on hard braking. All Jeeps should come with this shock! DO IT you will never get a bigger improvement for such a small price......
