Imcurious to hear what people are saying about these. I will be buying some sort of relocation brackets in the spring when the doors will be off all the time. So far, I thought these were the best ones. I especially like the round plug that goes in the stock location.
i keep readin how people say visibility is reduced with mirror relocation brackets but isnt this a given when your moving the point of mounting a few inches and not increasing the mirror size? Sure all these kits could make them stick out further but then our jeeps would look like Dumbo
As for the bolt problem, a 5/16 from the hardware store solved that.
So far the Rugged Ridge is the best option for right now. The Mopar kit sucks, it is driver's side only, a TJ mirror stuck on a huge ugly metal bracket that didn't even come threaded, you had to tap the holes and nothing to cover the gaping holes in the doors. The Warrior products brackets don't come with filler plates for the doors either plus I read that they rattle and shake. The Rugged Ridge (if you install it right) is all metal and not that bad. They are on backorder again, though.
Holes in the doors? I just leave the bracket on the JK and leave the mirror on the door. Then, when I remove the door I install the mirror that came with the kit (the TJ mirror you reference). Okay, maybe not some folk's cup of tea leaving that bracket on there, but I've gotten to where I just ignore it. The reason I don't pull the bracket, BTW, is because I've had the nut-plates behind it loosen up several times and spin freely. The thought of tearing into that (even under warranty) to fix a busted nut-plate convinced me to start removing the mirror only, and to leave the bracket in place.

I have zero visibility problems with the driver's side, but over 50% obstruction on the passenger side. I'm going with the advice to get a stick-on-bubble-mirror on the passenger side.
I reused all of the factory torx in original positions, but didn't really have any issues with the chrome bolts on the interior of the door.
What I really, really disliked? The socket that the factory mirror fits into (on the bracket) is not flared. It won't fully accept the factory mirror and sticks out about 3mm. I can screw it down tight, but still looks crappy if you know what to look for.
I think this set was rushed to market. It's usable, and I'm keeping mine on, but when something better comes along I'll buy it.

i like my mopar relocation. i think im going to take it to a fabricator to see if they can muster up something for the passanger side.
as for the holes left over from the stock mirrors... goto a hardware store and pick up a pair of these:

all you have to do is paint them... they fit the hole perfect and come with sticky tape already attatched.
