08 JK just changed the water pump since it was leaking. Now jeep is running hot (3/4 of the way on the temp gauge) not hot hot but to the point the a/c quits blowing cold air. I just changed the water pump again and thermostat wile at it. Went for a test drive and same results. I did flush the radiator when doing this also so I know I have no blockage.
Any help wild be greatly appreciated. I'm at a loss here.
Also, this HOAT antifreeze, is that a must? Or can I use regular? I used regular and now wonder if that's got my sensors messed up.

By regular, do you mean IAT coolant (frequently green) or what exactly?
How long have you used it? It may have caused cavitation corrosion damaging your water pump impeller / backing plate.
The system was designed for G-05 HOAT, that's your best bet.

By regular I mean the orange Prestone concentrate you add water to.
I've looked/ called every automotive store (autozone oreillys napa car quest etc.) within 150 miles from me not a single person has even heard of HOAT. No dealer was open at the time I figured all this bs out. I was kinda in a bind so I put orange colored antifreeze back in. That was before I diagnosed the fan to be the problem.

The brand name is Zerex (by Valvoline) G-05 coolant. The technology is hybrid organic acid. Chrysler has used it for over 10 years (but they just changed for the '13 models). Ford, Mercedes, it's not uncommon.
The colors are no longer reliable indicators of what tech is used for the additives.
This web page has some basic info.

You're probably ok if the stuff you used is a universal, as long as it isn't a dex-cool.
The Chrysler sec is MS9769, if it has specs on the bottle.
If/when you find the Zerex g-05, it comes either undiluted or as a 50/50 mix.
The Pep Boys near me has the 50/50 pre-mix gallons for $15. Yet full strength gallons are only $18....
(strangely, when I was a kid we used to drink a drink called Zarex. Kind of like Hawaiian punch....)

There is a stealership across the street from my office so Ill be going there on my way home to grab the right stuff. Now need to figure out why the fan kicks on and off every couple seconds. Im hoping the right fluid will help with this.
