Any chance the goup is oil in the coolant?

If they have tolerance issues in the oil cooler and oil is mixing with water.

Just a wild guess.

Just got back from the dealership and they say my problem is the blend door. Going to take a few days to get the parts in and they are going to cover it under warranty even though I have 37,500 miles on it. They said it's going to take at least a half a day because the dash has to come out.

if you have a newer JK the heater control itself can be an issue.. on my '13 it was mis calibrating the blend door and so at times I had very different temps from different vents as whe nthat blend door starts to move from full heat it seems to favor the passenger side for warmer air than the driver.. not sure why, I havent seen a diagram of the heater box to see how the ducting routes from the blend door area into the directional door area..

I had my heater control panel replaced and npow all is good..

my coolant does slowly disappear from the bottle but never goes completely out.. dealer couldnt find a leak...

WHAT NO SAND IN THE COOLING SYSTEM OR DUCTS ?
I was hoping to be able to use some of that for extra traction if stuck on an icy surface. Damn...there goes that idea

What was it.....about 15-20 min to remove all that, right? Looks easy! LOL, jk!

For real though....reattach the steering wheel, slap a speedo and gas gauge on the dash and it'd look kinda like my dads CJ7!
