According to the dealer, my receipt says: "Unable to reproduce the problem".
Also, the miles in and miles out is the same... and the guy on the phone said they were driving around to test it... Hmm, guess its gonna be one of those things that no matter how many times I take it in, they'll just look at me like I'm dumb.

Guess I'll just learn to sit low to the ground... (maybe now I need that lift kit)

But when I get out of the seat, I'll be able to raise it about 4 'lever fulls'.
Holy cow, I thought this was just the seat cushion compressing! I would go on a long road trip or a week long and notice I wasn't looking over the hood. I could then crank the lever almost 4 times.

If it takes a day or two for the seat to move out of the position you had set, you might need to leave it at the dealer for say a weekend if you can. Never the less keep going back to the dealer and keep your documentation because when they figure it out it might be out of warranty, but you'll have the paperwork proving that it was a warranty issue.

My solution was to pull the handle off and reposition it. Unfortunately the only position it will go back on is pointing straight down at the floor. It works 100 percent, never needing adjustment until you choose to.

Mine was doing the same thing and got worse after I lifted my Rubicon 3.5. I found getting in and out I was putting some of my weight on the edge of the cushion and pushing down the handle. I have already had to replace the handle because the center broke loose from adjusting it. Clocking the handle to the down position will work but it would be nice if Jeep would make one that was 45 deg. down. Are the 2011 the same?
