Default Shaking at 55...

I have a 2010 JKUR with a 2.5" lift and have a pretty good shake a 55mph. Tires are all balanced ( says the dealer ). Any thoughts?

I'm turning 60 next month and haven't started shaking yet

Have your alignment checked.

That's textbook balance symptom.
Methinks the dealer is wrong...

You could've thrown a weight since the dealer balanced them. Or did the dealer check for balance AFTER you noticed the shake??

You could swap in the spare and test various positions.

When I test drove the jeep before I purchased, it was shaking the whole time. They balanced the tires and now it only shakes at 55. I wound up knowing the guy that traded the jeep ( friend of a friend of a friend ) and he had 35s on it. Put the stock tires back on to trade it in. He said the 35s ran smooth.

still yet, a balance issue. I would have the dealer rebalance the tire. The tech still places the weights which could off set the balance, regardless of the method they are using. Weights all inside/outside the wheel for instance.
