Default Silblade Wipers? Any updated reviews or thoughts?

OK
I know this topic was covered a while back and I read the old reviews.

I was just wondering if anyone had the Silblade could give us an update?

I see they now make them in 15 in for the Wrangler so you don't have to settle for the 16 in anymore.

I am thinking of ordering a pair!

Thanks!

I had a pair on an old vehicle. They worked pretty well. The 5 year warranty they had was great! I would just get them replaced everytime they started to not work as well.

Well I went to the local Wally World today as I had to try
and pick up some ammo (they are limiting you to buying 6 boxes!)

Anyway, checked the wiper aisle and NOTHING in 15 for the JK so
I went home and placed an order for the Silblade.

Ill have to dig this post back up in a couple weeks or once we get some good
rain after I have them and post a review....

I have them. I think they are only OK. I was going to put them on my car too, but I think the cost vs. performance is not quite up to my standards.

I have a set of Silblades on my 96 Mustang 10+ Years not a issue at all! So of course I got the 16" for the JK right away! 6 months not a issue as well...

I'll be interested to hear your opinion. I have tried a lot of different wipers over the years on various vehicles. Can't say I have ever noticed much of a difference.

I find it helpful to clean the blades every so often by wiping them down with a wet napkin. I guess the sun light and the grease/oil from other vehicles degrades the rubber. It is amazing how much crap wipes off the blades. Got to keep the w/s clean, too.

I am a big fan of Rain-X glass treatment. It makes the rain bead up and roll right off. Makes it easier to wash away the bug splat, too.

Rain-X has made a bigger difference than any wiper blade I have ever tried!

I've had Silblades on all my vehicles (3) for a little over a year. Best blade I've ever run. Made it through the winter and now several Spring rains with no issues. No streaks, no chatter, just clean windshields! I love them. Their customer service is outstanding--2 of my longer blades came almost folded in half by UPS--called them and had replacements in 2 days.
