Default slam door

i got a 2010 unlimited, i'm noticing I really have to slam the passenger side to get it to close, so my question is what do I adjust first? the striker or the door latch in the door?

I have to slam all my doors on my 2010. Looking forward to hearing some suggestions.

Mine I have to shut pretty hard as well but I don't think it has anything to do with the adjustments. If I leave the passenger side door open or a window open I barely have to do anything to get the door to close. Hard to believe that they are actually that airtight . . .

give it some time, you'll get used to it and it will ease a little.

If you follow through with your hand on the door handle, you won't have to slam them. What I mean is, don't push and let go...hold onto the handle, push the door closed, and then let go after it has latched.

X2. It is just an air pressure thing, if you leave a window down a little they close just fine. It is hard to believe they are that air tight though!?

It's normal. It's not a latch problem. It's air pressure from inside the cabin.

Yep. This has been a problem with hard tops since they moved the vents from the top to the tailgate in 2003. It's not really that big of a deal. You will get used to it. Crack a window if it bothers you and it won't be hard at all.

Soft top is a little easier since air leaks out all the zippers.

Air pressure is the cause. I bet you have the hardtop on right now. All doors will be much easier to close when the soft top is on.

The doors are fairly light too, so follow through and it will be no problem.
