Default Slave cylinder issues!!

So, finally replaced my clutch, pilot bearing, and throw out bearing. Went to install the new slave cylinder...and it's spewing fluid out the front, the spot that pushes into the fork. Also, it won't push the fork forward. It's new, and I don't know what's going on. It was bled and still spewing fluid out the front. Is it defective? Or am I missing something??

that sucks. how did you bleed it? vacuum/pressure pumps or by the push the pedal? sounds like a bad seal.
