Default slow rear locker engage solution

Hi all. i went wheelin this past weekend and noticed my rear e-locker was engaging extremely slow. front would lock right away but the rear would take about 30ft or so, even on a flat level street. when i got home i decided to change diff fluid. when i opened it up i got about 2 table spoons of mud and the fluid was very contaminated (im suprised the locker engaged at all). cleaned it all out with brake cleaner and rags. put mobil 1 synthetic gear oil in and tested it out on the street, locker engaged much more quickly but still not as fast as the front. i figured i may still have some crap in there. i also raised the breather tubes into the roll bar since i figured they were too low and allowing mud and water in.

Maybe clean it again and use dino oil. Drive it around for awhile (not with the lockers engaged), drain, and repeat. And be careful engaging your lockers on the street.

Did you have to add an additive to the fluid? Fluid flushes can get expensive when your using mobil 1.
