Default Smell from HVAC after flat towing Rubicon Unlimited

I've flat towed my 2007 Rubicon Unlimited automatic behind two different motorhomes and both times I smelled something strange coming through the HVAC system when driving the Jeep after the tow (distance was around 100 miles). I can best describe it as a rubber kind of smell. The Jeep is properly configured for towing... the key is in accessory, the transmission is in park and the transfer case is in neutral. The smell goes away after a little bit and isn't present when the HVAC is not running.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

The JK may be trapping the MH exhaust, try towing it with door windows down just a bit

It is road grime that sticks to the exhaust system, my jeep does the same thing drive it and it will go away
