Default Soft top 101 and inventory of parts

I did several searches and didnt find what I was looking for.
Sorry if this is a dupe and my search-fu is weak.
I'm still learning the JEEP terminology and acronyms.

So here's the deal.....
I bought a JEEP (2007 JKU).
It came with the dual top package.
The Hard top was on it and still is.

Guy gave me a bunch boxes with assorted parts and stuff ie:
stock take off parts
hoist
soft top kit

He claims soft top was never put on and the condition of the parts/boxes support that.
Later I notification that there are parts to the top that he forgot to give me.

So at this point, I should have all the parts.
Is there a parts list to make sure it is all there, BEFORE I try to swap tops?

Also this is my first JEEP, and I have never helped, or watched a top be swapped.
Heck I've never seen one being opened or closed, for that matter.

Yes total NOOB needs help.
I know the school of "get in there and figure it out".
However for what the vehicle and replacement parts cost,
I prefer to tread on the side of caution for the first go around.

TIA

1. Soft top Canvas
2. Door surrounds (rear doors have a folding hinge style surround, front will be an extension) 4 pieces total
3. rollbar mounting brackets (dual top group should have them installed already, they will be on the angled rollbar in the back)
4. windows (2 sides, 1 rear)
5. rear window tailgate bar
6. tailgate bar brackets (snap to the body right next to the tailgate for the tailgate bar to slide into)
7. 6 screws/bolts (with black handles for hand tightening) to secure the door surrounds to the Jeep.

Thats really it, not a very large list of parts really.

Here is Mopars install instructions, it has a parts list as well. Since you have the dual top group, yours is already put together so lots of these screws and skeleton of the top have been used already, this install instruction is for people who buy one outright from the parts counter from Jeep etc but it will get you to the same place for info.

I did run into one small problem...

One of the rear door surrounds.....
where the spring lock is anchored....
It's missing the pin the anchors the the mechanism to the door surround.

No idea how that happened
The parts were new in wrap

So the money question is....
can I buy just the pin?
or is there a a cheap substitute?

Talking about the hand screws? If so quadratec sells them individually fairly inexpensive.

no... when you are taking down the soft top,
you have to activate a spring loaded lever, that is located right above the pillar connecting the two doors
I'll take pics ti
the pivot pin that the lever rides on is missing

the lever is held in place only by yhe spring itself at this point

I'll take pics tonight

ahhhh ok I gothca, your talking about the pivot point on the door surround so it can fold in half? If so I dont know that part, I know Mopar's new site is very detailed with parts now, so you might have to dig for awhile but might find it
