Well that's good news - I just read this topic and thought - dang did I get the "right" thing - I wanted the sunrider option - reminded me of my old GEO Tracker top operation - that thing did pretty well for a $150 beater - 2" body lift, 2" BB, lincoln locker, and 31's

You're banned for soliciting Geo Trackers....

Well, I'l have to look at the canvas in the AM. If it doesn't have the ability to bend I'll probably just skip it and pull the whole top down, I'm getting fast at it anyway.

When I owned a TJ and wanted a soft top, I found that Bestop makes all soft tops for MOPAR. They are 18 Gauge Sail cloth canvas and all hardware is made very sturdy.
Then comes the kicker. Bestop also sells soft tops under two names.
They use Bestop and Pavement Ends. These they can make and sell, but are not allowed to be any way near the quality of factory tops. These two after market companies sell only 10 gauge canvas and hardware that is much less sturdy ( almost flimsy)

You get what you pay for Factory in this case it's better than an aftermarket.

I've been trying to find information about this conversion for quite some time. Maybe we have a forum member out there who has a 2 door Sunrider top and another with the standard top who could get them together and compare just what the difference is. I think the cloth top is the same as the standard top has the break in the channel over the door. I'm thinking like the OP that all you need to buy are the frame parts. How about it guys, do we have two members out there who are close to each other with the two different tops and could help us all out on this subject. It would make a lot of Jeep guys and gals happy.

I've e-mailed Jeep and Bestop both. Got useless non answers from both. Jeep told me to see my dealer as they are "trained" and would better be able to answer my question. So the dealer says "2 door JK's aren't available with the Sunrider top". Since then I've been trying to buy a whole Sunrider on Ebay but most are posted as pick up only. Had one about two hours away but the price was pretty high compared to what others are selling for. I'll just wait until something shows up on the auction site.
