Default soft top boot

Newbie here.

I have been looking for the boot cover for a 2008. The prices I have seen have been quite high. Any suggestions on where to buy.

Thanks

it try ebay... even though most of the time the shipping cost nulls the amount taken off the total.

I would also suggest you ask around here about the boot cover. A number of us have had them and had problems. Some guys are buying an extra retainer bar just because they are such a pita to put on. I bought one for a good price from my dealer, but returned it the next day because it wasn't worth the hassle putting on.

I got the soft top boot at JParts.com (cheapest I found back when I got one... 4~5 months ago).

If you have problem with the boot, check out my post at THIS THREAD and "How to fold the soft top for the Mopar Soft Top Boot" at my My.Project-JK.com gallery.

First few times, it might be a bit hard to put it on (the fitting is very tight), but it gets easier once it stretches a little. I really like the boot. It protects the soft top from UV, dust, mud etc. It also keeps the underneath of the soft top neat and gives more storage space.

Default pic of 2 door soft top boot

Anyone have a pic of a soft top boot for the two door with it on (preferably no doors)?

I'm thinking of getting one, but only because I would like to not have to always take the whole soft top off and hang it in my garage when I take the doors off. (It looks ridiculous in my opinion with no doors and just the top folded down.)

As an aside, I've seen it on Moun10eer's 4 door and it looks good, but I'm skeptical on the 2 door.

Smittybilt has one for like $40, but I have not seen a good picture or install instructions to compare to the Mopar. I think 4wd.com is carrying it.
I would have to think that there would be huge differences

I have the Mopar one and love it - it looks so much neater than just having the top folded down, keeps the top clean and it's really easy once you get the hang of it. This is the only pic I have of my 2DR with the boot on, sorry the doors are on too.

$175 at autotrucktoys.

Thanks for the links and pic. I think I'll probably get one soon, as I was thinking either this or a bikini top just to add a few more times I can go sans doors in early spring and late fall.
