X2 on the greenhouse of the softtop, but once you are moving for a minute, you'll clear that air out. The hardtop will feel a little cooler, but you can't drop it on the fly....so, having both works for me. I couldn't imagine not having the soft top in the summer.

One thing about the soft top is that it doesn't hold the heat. When you get in the shade it cools down pretty fast.

Having both tops for two summers.... Hardtop is cooler on sunny days, and both warmer and drier on cool rainy days. On those really hot days, the better thermal insulation of the hardtop allows the A/C to cool the interior faster and more efficiently. Nonetheless, the soft top will go on later this month.

they both get hot, but the hardtop weighs a bunch more and can't be pulled. softtop = better mpg, and ease of open air.
