Soft Top Flapping & Whipping
Just bought my 11' JK Sahara in May and have 5k miles on it now. This is my first Jeep and now that its getting colder, I'm getting a whipping/flapping noise when I'm driving down the road (over 45 MPH) where the top is smacking the top of the roll bar and sound bar. It didn't do this all summer and the top has been up and on steadily since September.
Is this normal????

Mine does that too. Overall tho it is WAY quieter than the soft top on my 07 and doesn't leak. No whistles and no leaks. I tended to tune out the flapping mostly, I guess. Did you get the plastic inserts done by the dealer to protect the fabric from the bow corners yet? I did then removed the soft top. Wonder if that reduces the flapping?
