Default Soft top fully retractable

Just bought a 2017 JKU with a hardtop. Looking to buy a soft top but want something that folds all the way down to the spare tire. Do some versions of soft tops (OEM or otherwise) only fold back once at that first swivel point while others disconnect at that point and fold all the way back? Suggestions? Appreciate any guidance. Thanks

Look at the bestop trektop glide. I have one on order for my 2014 jk. What sold me were the reviews about how easy it is to put up and take down.

Looks like those do fold all the way down, but they're a bit pricey. What about OEM tops? Do those fold all the way back?

Not sure about the OEM tops. I think they fold all the way back, but I'll let others chime in on that. Ending today is bestop's $100 rebate. Also, quadratec has a gift card offer for $150 for the top I'm buying. So it will be like I'm getting $250 off. But sadly it is back ordered, and I have no idea when I'll be getting it. I went with the twill fabric after highly respected member in here told me it is worth the premium price.
You can find plenty of used soft tops on FB marketplace.

Here's a Trektop Glide on a 2 door.
Gives you an idea how it folds down.
The OEM tops fold down as well

On the glide, can the side windows and back window be stored in the jeep or need to be left in the garage? I was under the impression with zip out windows, those could be rolled up and stashed in the jeep but the glide widows won't roll up. It's that right?

The Glide windows will not roll up.
You can put them in a Bestop storage bag and hang the bag over the back of the seat.
We generally just leave them home.
I did really like the original Trektop NX, but those f'ing zippers suck.
The top fits so tight, it really stresses the zippers. Eventually, you will have a zipper separate from the window, probably the back window.
My back window zipper failed last spring, and while checking on CL for windows, I found this Twill Glide for 800 bucks, so I grabbed it

to be fair, the factory windows may technically roll up, but you're only going to end up creasing them pretty bad. Same with the rear window. All the factory soft tops will fold all the way back, but they are pretty bulky sitting on the tailgate unless you get a nice cover that wraps em up.....and that is just additional money and hassle. I'd tell you that with anything you look at, the premium twill material is worth what will look like a huge additional cost.....but it is that much nicer.

I would imagine that the glide might fold up to be less bulky on the tailgate due to how the windows are removed.

It kills me that bestop has a sale going on, but even before the sale, the twill glide was out of stock. Hopefully I'll get mine before the summer is over.

Thanks for everyone's input. Just pulled the trigger on the Bestop Trektop NX Glide Twill Soft Top. With the Quadratec $150 gift card and Bestop $100 rebate, coupled with a 5% forum discount, figured I might as well do it now.
