Soft Top Leaks, Jeep (not Car) now Stinks
Usually kept in the garage and never seen the 08 2DR X soft top leaking before on both sides from the top of the windscreen pillers.
Left it at airport outdoor parking last week for a 3 day trip, when I returned the entire carpet was soaked and the Jeep now smells like a used Lincoln Tunnel hooker.
I've searched the forum and see that it's a common problem and there are no specific fixes. Any suggestions other then doubling up on some sticky tape - inside front right & left of the soft top to see what happens?
Just venting literally, it looks like I'll keep the top down to air out the fish stank for a while.

Holy cow, am I glad you posted this! As I read this I was thinking to post that you need to let the vehicle completely dry out as soon as the weather permits--lift up floor mats (if wet underneath), open the storage cubby (ditto), remove doors, take off top (ideally), open rear gate, etc. Anyway, I'm thinking that's exactly what my Jeep looks like "right now." And I look out the window from my home and a huge, black cloud is right over the top of the house and it's beginning to rain. So, I went outside and threw the Trail Cover back into place. Thanks, Fixdaserver!

thanks for the advise all.
your so right about the car remark, i was trying to avoid using 4 letter words.
correct, hookers are not IN the tunnel, they're usually on the Jersey side.
