That's happened to me a few times. Just roll down the windows when you drive and blast the a/c for a few days. The smell will be gone by the weekend. Unless it rains again.

Got mine stuck out in the rain while at dinner last night floorboards completely full of water and horn randomly going off while driving!! Dried out today and no problems so far!!

The same thing happened to me. I took the carpet out and never put it back. Life is so much simplar without carpet. You don't have to worry about rain and it's so much easier to clean it.
