Default Soft Top Not Staying Seated

I have a 2008 Unlimited Soft Top that I have put up and down a few times. I have watched the instructional video and followed the directions as best as I can.

Just yesterday I noticed that my cross bow that snaps to the driver's and passenger’s bows, is not staying snapped on the driver's side. The passenger is secured and has no "play in it" but the diver's keeps popping up. In fact, I can reach up and pull it down with everything latched and going down the road and it still pops up.

So last night, I folded it back to the sun rider position and resecured it all again. However it is still not nearly as tight as the passenger side, but not popping up nearly as much as it was yesterday.

First I would like to ask, is this normal? If not, how can I do things differently or should I take it to the dealer?

Mine started doing that after I got it back from the dealer for a leak "repair". I couldn't figure it out either.

It's doing it again today. You can tell that the driver's side is higher.

It is bent just as much as the other side. I can pull it down and it somewhat snaps into place, but it will not stay there. It's as if the side is not putting enough pressure on it to stay there.

I even tried securing that side before the pass. but it will not stay down at all without the pass. side snapped.

Mine does this too. Nothing I do will make it go in and stay in. Been that way since the first time I opened the top.

Maybe that black strap, that runs from the rear bow to there, is too tight. Mine, and alot of others, popped off the rivets and we just used some screws and washers to put it back on. Mine have been hanging in the back all winter, the screws are in the cup holder if it ever gets warm enough to put the top down so I can fix it.
Just a thought.
