Default Soft Top Required (Now)

So, I did a major oops to my Jeep, I backed into the garage with the rear window up by mistake. And, since it's $2000-$4000 for a new hardtop, I'm getting a soft one. What is the best one for the money? Any experience with the cheaper $600 ones?

Yes craigslist used. I waited around and found a brand new black twill soft top with all the hardware still in boxes for 500 for my two door. Everything brand new.

Wow, I would think that the glass would break before the top would. Sorry for your loss.

Used is probably the best way to go. Just be sure to get ALL the hardware, including the brackets that attach to the roll bar. Some people that buy a Jeep with dual tops and sell their soft top forget to remove these brackets from the roll bar when they sell their soft top.

^^ This right here. Happened to me. Made the 2nd trip to unscrew all the needed brackets. At least the guy I bought it from lived close by.

If you decide on a fast-back type instead of the stock look w/frame, the TrekTop NX is probably the most popular.

Default SmittyBuilt?

Anyone had any experience with the smittybuilt soft tops? I've got a line on a frameless one for $650.
