I use a spray product called RAGGTOPP. They make both a cleaner and protectant. I only use the latter...

Default Toothpaste

I removed a few scratches with toothpaste and a terry cloth towel. Use a little toothpaste and buff on well. Its the sand/grit that is in the toothpaste that removes the scratches. Also rubbing compound words good. Also the fine grit in the compound is what does the job.
