Default Soft top windows

How do you?:
1. Keep them clean ?
2. Keep them new looking, not faded?
3. Not scratch them?

Don't roll the back one up into the straps at the top. Just unzip it and let it lay down in the back. Mine is down all the time and only has a couple of scratches but its from other things hitting it. And I just roll my side ones up and put in the back. And they make a rubbing compound to help get out small scratches.

Any ideas on the fading? Turning all ugly?

I have the Bestop window roll that I use each time the windows are out. Doesn't take that long and after 1.5 years the windows still look new. Havn't used anything special for cleaning them- just soap and water. Have to make sure they are clean and dry before rolling them up.

So is it scratches that make them turn all old looking where it looks like you can't even see through them? I wish I had a pic to show what I mean.
I usually take mine out and put them on the guest bed flat.

Default Keep them clean

As long as you keep them clean they wont get that old, crappy, yellow look. My TJ windows were 6 years old when I sold it and they still looked pretty good. I keep mine in the house almost all summer so that helps, but when they get dirty I clean them with soap and water then rub them down with Plastx from McGuires (sp?). When they start looking dirty or hazy that makes a big difference.
