Default Softtop window install issue

So it was in the 70's today here so we decided to install the soft top for the first time. Everything went on perfect except for the drivers side rear window (08 4dr ruby) which won't fully snap into the door frame along the rear side near the roof. It almost seams like it is 1/8" too short/tight. Anyone else have a similar problem? I figure if it doesn't stretch out in the next week I'll take it in and try to get the window swapped out.

Also is there any way to hold the side windows up like the rear if you want to roll them up?

Thanks!

try starting the zipper about a foot....then put the sides in the door frame and close the door, then zip and tuck in the lower piece....that should help

I've tried most all of that. The distance between the start of the zipper and top of the door frame seams slightly to small if that makes sense.

Yes... it does get easier to to manage the top and windows (zipping, etc) the more you use the top.

I can only speak from my own experience, and I have a 2dr. , so I don't know the intricacies of the 4dr soft top.

I also know it's a LOT easier to manage when the weather is warm.

My two side windows appear to be too short also. just as you described.

I've had the soft top and have been using it exclusively for about a year now. The side windows can be tricky. The most helpful thing will be to install them somewhere were its at least 50 degrees or so - It makes the windows much more flexible.

I usually start the side windows by zipping them up, then putting in the door channel piece (starting from the bottom), then making sure the velcro is attached right.

Once you do the soft top a bunch of times you'll see that things have to be done in a certain procedure and when they're done in that procedure all components go off and on in a breeze. You'll soon be able to put up the top and install the side and rear windows in 10 minutes. You could do it much faster but you risk getting those "DOH!" scratches.

X2, but the windows are still kinda hard in colder weather.
Can't wait for summer.
