anyone have a better sparkplug than the dealers, time for a tuneup, thanks

Would like to know myself.. Wanting to replace these at the end of the month. Any tips on removal and installation would help too!!

Some people run the E3 spark plugs. I ran them in my TJ with a 4.0. I liked them but did not notice all the claims of better gas mileage and increased power. They come with a pre set gap and are pretty nice. I can say that for the time I had my TJ I never had a problem. I'm sure if you searched you could find someone that has run them.

Recommended change is 102,000 and has been posted that it's best to stay with same.

JK's come stock with Champion Double Platinums dont they? My idle has become a little rough lately and I know its not the PCV Valve so i'd say its time to swap in some fresh plugs.

How many miles are on your jeep, as these are 100,000 plugs. So there is no reason to change them real early in your jeeps life.

I just did my S-10 with 100,000 mile plugs and when I took them out I wondered why I was doing it cause they were still good.

I have about 12,000. I also have a rough idle. Seeing that chrysler has cut back on quality everywhere else, I'm just wondering if some better spark plugs would help.

Ive tried them all. They all run the same. E3 to 1.99 Denso. Never noticed a significant difference in performance or gas mileage. I have Bosch Platinum Plus 4's in mine now and they are fine but no difference than stock. Unless there was something wrong with the plug or plugs, the performance gains are all mental...

Conclusion: Buy what's on sale....
