Spark plugs
So i think its time for new plugs... 50k miles. I have a superchips tuner installed with 93 octane tune..My 2010 jk seems rough on start up and idle. My question is, what spark plugs did any of u go with. My guess is to use factory champions.. But open to any suggestions. Thank you

Not broken = don't fix
Get the guy trying to sell you on this to pay for it.
These ain't 2 strokers or Jap scrap.
Start playing with plugs and wires and you could be opening a can of worms when you don't need to. Unless you've been playing with or pressure washing them when the engine is hot there's no need to even think about them.
This isn't a 70's carburated engine.

Pull a plug and take a look at it. If replacement is needed, factory Champion as you mention is the way to go. From what I have heard about the 3.8L it would seem possible to me the plugs could be in rough shape if the engine is having some of the issues that have plagued it. Example: oil burning.
Bought OEM Champions on eBay. Replaced mine at 43k. Didn't want to fight them. Used anti seize on threads and silicone grease on plug boots. Be very careful removing the boots. There is a thread or two on the forum. I tried to explain the replacement process on the forum. Don't forget to lay the hood all the way back on the roof and use a stool. Good luck
