Default Stall Recall Performed

Took jeep to the dealer this morning to get the stall recall done and it was done in les than an hour. While it was there I asked if they could adjust my headlights. When I picked it up they told me they were set to factory specs and could not adjust them. Has anyone done this? Can I get some info on how to? I have adjusted other vehicle lights before but cant seem to find the adjustment screws on the jeep. I can see one from the outside but looks like side to side adjustment.

there are 2 bolts (at about 10 and 2 o'clock) on the outside of the headlights. One of these moves the light up/down. You need a torx wrench to adjust them, but I did it with a really small flathead screwdriver.

Right. Specifically, you will need a Torx 15 driver. Do not get a universal driver with an assortment of Torx bits as the shaft of the driver will be too thick and will prevent you from accessing the bolts. On my 3" lifted JK, I had to adjust my lights about 3 full turns down to get them where they need to be.

Got mine in the mail yesterday. For some reason I thought mine was built in Feb 07 and NOT part of the recall, but when I got the notice I went and looked. Sure enough, I was wrong. DOH!

My JK goes in Thursday morning.

I got mine done last Friday. I'm not sure if this is my imagination or not, but Friday night I took the Jeep wheeling and for some reason it seemed as if the Jeep was much easier to stall out on the trail. Hopefully this was just my imagination!

Recall came in yesterday's mail, appt. set up for Tuesday to have reprogram done. I have had no issues with this in the past, but will have the work done anyway.
