Stall Recall Performed
Took jeep to the dealer this morning to get the stall recall done and it was done in les than an hour. While it was there I asked if they could adjust my headlights. When I picked it up they told me they were set to factory specs and could not adjust them. Has anyone done this? Can I get some info on how to? I have adjusted other vehicle lights before but cant seem to find the adjustment screws on the jeep. I can see one from the outside but looks like side to side adjustment.
there are 2 bolts (at about 10 and 2 o'clock) on the outside of the headlights. One of these moves the light up/down. You need a torx wrench to adjust them, but I did it with a really small flathead screwdriver.
Thanks for helping with the headlight situation. Got them adjusted and dont have to worry about getting high beamed by the police any more. I also revieved the recall in the mail from Daimler Chrysler about the stall problem. Anyone else recieved theres? Thanks Again.

Look in the electronics sticky, theres a thread about headlight adjustment(with pics)
Got mine in the mail yesterday. For some reason I thought mine was built in Feb 07 and NOT part of the recall, but when I got the notice I went and looked. Sure enough, I was wrong. DOH!
My JK goes in Thursday morning.

I got mine done last Friday. I'm not sure if this is my imagination or not, but Friday night I took the Jeep wheeling and for some reason it seemed as if the Jeep was much easier to stall out on the trail. Hopefully this was just my imagination!
