Default steering

After climbing a small hill in 4 low I went back on the road (in 2 wheel drive). When I make a tight corner slowly the wheel jumps a little and almost feels like its still in 4 wheel. The stick is full forward and the dash doesnt say 4 wheel but it just feels funny. Any thoughts? Am I just making a deal out of nothing?

Put it back in 4wd then take off and back up like 10 feet and then pull forward. If that doesnt fix anything, I would check your steering stabilizer or trackbar. One may have came loose somehow

Does it matter if its 4 hi or low? Basically I'm just going forward and back a few times?

No it doesnt matter. Idea is to just to put in 4wd again and take back to 2wd. Maybe it didnt engage correctly. As for the reverse, I am thinking the old school way on some vehicles. Put back into 2wd before reversing, then pull forward. That doesnt work, check the other two things I thought might do the trick

Thanks man. I'm away from my tools and stuff. If either of those two are loose is it still safe to drive on the highway?

You could get a death wobble but try putting back into 4wd then back into 2wd first and see if that does the trick. If for some reason 4wd low is still engaged even though its not showing on gauges you could tear all kinds of stuff up. I wouldnt go over 30ish if not even 20s in low if thats the case and your saying it really feels like its still in 4wd low

Alright here's the first update. I tried everything you said and it didn't make a difference. It actually stalled for whatever reason I can't explain. Since im 75 miles from home and my dealership, I took it to the local one here for a quick peek. They said its definitely not in 4 wheel drive and there isn't anything visibly wrong. Any other thoughts? I'm deeming it good enough to drive home and I have an appointment next week at my dealership anyways so ill have them look at it then.

Alright its home. I don't think anythings really wrong. It drove fine on the highway and I can offer a better description of what its doing. Basically after the wheel is turned, its tending to wobble a little as it centers out. It's only doing this at slow speeds and sharp turns.
