Nope, if your talking about the mopar side steps then no drilling required, just screws and bolts.

i just did this. last week i picked up an unlimited sport, and got the side steps at cost ($320) i put them on b/c the dealer would have charged $90 for the install. it was ridiculously easy. the cardboard box was the perfect size top put on the ground under the jeep. there was plenty of room for me to lay on the ground and bolt them on. no drilling required for the stock side steps.

here is the pdf to install (just change the xx to tt in the web address) hxxp://www.quadratec.com/Assets/Installation/75628.pdf

good luck with your new jeep.

Default It must have been a busy day for the Fed Ex guy.

I just finished this install myself before dinner. Easy as could be...after I found my 10mm box wrench.
Wifey likes the look. Says it looks more finished. I said, "Baby, we're just gettin' started!"

i wish you guys posted your side steps in the f/s section... i would have rather paid one of you guys than the dealership.
