Indeed....that's why I agreed with you... Nice junkyard jeep too btw. It remeinds me of my CJ5 I still have. It's a beater, but I still have it and would like to get it running again, mod it, and take it where I don't want to beat up the JK. The 304 still runs. I just have to fix the tranny. I'll never understand why they put such a weak tranny behind that V8...???

2 door or 4 door?
Coke or Pepsi?
Old Metallica or new Metallica?
Van Halen or Van Hagar?
X(sport), Sahara or Rubi?
Stock, 33's, 35's or 37's?........................
Sometimes you just have to pick the one you like the best and not give a hoot what someone else thinks. You will never get a definitive answer.

as for the OP's question, who gives a flying #@^% whether it's a 2 door, 4 door, Rubi, Sahara or X. It's about 95% driver anyways.

If you're out wheeling with buddies, everyone is making it down the trail and everyone is having a good time doing it. If that's not the case, then you're doing it wrong

I voted 2DR because this is my 5th one and I just can't bring myself to add more doors (even though the extra room would be nice sometimes).

DITTO- I have had both 2dr and 4dr jeeps.

I agree. Too many variables to consider. Depends on the situation.

I vote 2 door for the terrain around here because it makes tighter turns and has a better break over angle. What my friends 2 door tapped with skids, mine dragged pretty hard. However, I do not regret it because they both ran the same trails without issue, I just ha to choose my lines better. That's what the skid plates are for!

Default 2007 unlimited rubicon

Have many offroad miles on CJ 5's and my 07 Rubi Unlimited--My off road weight with 2 people, full fuel, and my gear is 5500 lbs--CJ 5's about 3200 lbs--the 07 does much better--the weight diff makes a big difference--CRWood
