Default stock horn sucks

well i had my wife and kids in the jeep the other day and i needed to use the horn on someone who cut us off. so i pushed the wheel and the horn beeped its pathetic little beep sound it always makes. my wife proceeded to laugh and break my balls that my "badass" jeep could sound so puny . she must have laughed for 5 minutes. not very nice. i had gotten used to the crappy stock horn.

now i have to spend more money on a new horn. maybe i will get one of those train horns.

see ya

Find you a wrecked new Honda Accord and snatch the horn off it. They are loud. And it will add horsepower.

Can these go through deep water or mud? That's how I ruined my stock horn.....I think.

As far as I know there isn't a horn out there that can go through mud and water. They all work off forcing air through small openings and if the openings are plugged they won't work.

Harbor Freight Tools sells a plug-n-play airhorn for $9.99 that is plenty loud. It ounds like an old Milk truck.

the horn does suck. It is also mounted "up" so it can fill up with water. My horn barely squeaks. After what seems like our 10th day in a row with rain here in Dallas, my horn is actually FULL of water.

When that sun of a bizzle cut me off, I blew my horn and he just laughed at me. A new horn is on my list of things to do. Might just get another Jeep one and turn the screw to tune it at a different pitch (if that screw even exists).
