Default Stock rubicon shock and springs VS. stock X

This has probably been asked before but, how much difference in ride and heigth would I notice if I switched my stock 09 X model springs and shocks for Rubicon springs and shocks?

It depends on the part number on your springs and the replacement springs.

Some people say they get about a inch of lift when going to the rubi. More importantly if you go from the x shocks to the rubi shocks the ride will be much better. The X shocks are crap and you definitely get a better ride.

I skipped the springs because I figured it wasn't worth the extra work, but switching to the Rubicon shocks was a nice step above the X shocks. It rides about the same but with a lot less body roll and nose diving when braking. I think it was worh the $50 I paid for the shocks, but I wouldn't have spent more than that on them.

all of the above, IMO I don't even think is worth the effort or labor to change the springs or shocks

With simple hand tools and a floor jack I swapped the springs and shocks in less than 2 hours. I didn't take any of the wheels off, disconnected the sway bars, rear brake line brackets and went to work. I went from "14" fronts and "54" rears to "17"'s and "60"'s and it lifted mine ~.75" in the front and 1.25" in the rear. It rides a lot better than stock, mostly because the shocks are quite a bit better.
