Default Stock Sahara to Rubi Tires

Stupid questions here but I am hoping to purchase some used rubi tires off of someone upgrading their stock rubicon.

I have stock Sahara tires/rims now, is there any issue with going to the Rubi tires/rims? I think they are 1" larger than the Sahara.

Will this drain on MPG? Horsepower? or how the ride is on/off road?

Thanks

Rubi tires = P255/75R17 = 32.05"
Sahara tires = P255/70/R18 = 32.05"

No difference.

You will get a different feel with mud terrains on the road.

You will probably see a little MPG hit, I did when I went from the stock Goodyears to the BFG M/Ts (same size). For the improvement in off-road abilty it is well worth it. There is a slight hum from the M/Ts, and at really low speeds you can "feel" the lugs, but really being a Jeep it is nothing I am concerned about.

Thanks everyone.

I am looking for the rims & wheels combo, but I do have my rims which are oddly 17" and not 18" like most sahara's.

The 18" wheels were not standard but an upgrade in 2007. I have the 07 17" rims with Rubi tires and love them on my Sahara.

Yup. , but be ready for an argument, some people will argue until they are purple with veins sticking out of thier foreheads that Sahara's didnt come stock with 17" painted Moab's, even though the '07's most definetly did! It's hysterical to watch them get all unglued about it. Maybe we'll get lucky and one of them will stop by here to rant about it.

I still have my stock 17" Sahara wheels, i LIKE the way they look with my 33x12.5 Coopers. I have no plans at this time on replacing them.

Switched 07 rubi tires with an 08 sahara... the sahara gets much worse mpg now - that was expected.

The Rubi was just purchased, no idea what it was getting.
